SHRI KABIR MANDIR WAS ESTABLISHED IN DELHI IN TH YEAR 1952 AT THIS PALCE BEFORE PARTITION IN MULTAN ( NOW IN PAKISTAN ) WE HAD A VERY BIG TEMPLE OF ABOUT1000 YARDS HAVING ALL FACILITIES OF SATSANG AND STAY FOR SAINTS AND EVEN LANGARS WERE PROVIDED AT TEMPLE DURING FULL DAY .
THIS TEMPLE WAS MADE BY DONATION BUT IT WAS HEADED BY PARAM PUJAYA PUNJABI SAHEB SH GURUDIT SINGH JI MAHARAJ . HE HAD LOTS OF ASSETS IN THE SHAPE OF PROPERTIES AND CINEMA HALL BUT HE WILL SPEND MOST OF HIS TIME IN SATSANG AND TEACH DEVOTEES SHABAD SUMIRAN YOG AND BHAJAN OF SADGURU KABIR SAHEB.
OUR MOST OF OUR PARENTS AND GRAND PARENTS WERE THE SHISHYA OF PUNJABI SAHEB AND WILL SIT LATE NIGHT FOR PRACTICING BHAJAN SUMIRAN.
THIS WAS A REGULAR ROUTINE MEDITATION AND MOSTLY ALL WILL ATTEND. AND ALSO SERVE THE TEMPLE IN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.
PUJYA PUNJABI SAHEB LEFT HIS HUMAN BODY IN 1933 BUT DEVOTEES CONTINUE THEIR PRACTICE. AFTER PUNJABI SAHEB HIS SON SARDAR BALWANT SINGH JI WAS HEAD OF ASHRAM AND FEW MORE ALSO HEADED LIKE SH AMOL DAS JI( SH TOLA RAM JI ) SH THAKUR DASS JI.
AFTER PARTION SH AMOL DAS JI AND SH THAKUR DASJI BROUGH FEW THINGS OF TEMPLE TO DELHI AND FIRST THE STARTED SATSANG AT RESIDENCE OF SH THAKUR DAS JI AND LATER THE LODGED CLAIM WITH AUTHRITIES AND GOT THIS LAND WHERE THIS TEMPLE IS SITUATED. FIRSTLY IT WAS IN TENTS AND LARE WOODEN STRUCURE WAS ERRECTED.
IN 1958 THE SAMITI WAS GOT REGISTERED WITH RAGISTRAR OF SOCIETIES AND NO WAS ALOTTED 1264 OF 1958 DT 10-06-1958.
AS PER MOU AND ARTICLE OF ASSN THE COMMITTEE WAS CONSTITUTEDOF FEW MAIN WORKERS SH AMOL DAS WHO WAS MADE MAHANT ALSO OF TEMPLE SH THAKUR DAS , SH CHOUDHRY ATAM PARKASH , CHOUDHRY JASWANR RAI , SH SHAM DAS JI , SH ATAM PARKASH JI SH NAND LAL CHUDHRY JESSA RAM JI , SMT RANGU MAA, SMT BHUNDHIBAI , MANY MORE CONTRIBUTED HENCE FINALL THE MAIN HALL CONSTRUCTED. SHRI CHANDA RAM TRUST AND AND SH SADANAND JI SH ATAM PARKASH H SUAJ PARKASH SH RUP PARKASH JI SUPPORTED IN ALL FUNDING AND RELARED CORRESPONDENCE TOSEE THIS TRMPLE COMES IN TO SHAPE AND DEVOTEESOF PUJYA PUNJABI SAHE B AND SADGURU KABIR SAHEB SHOULD REACH TO EVERYONE WHICH TEACHES WITHOUT ANY DIFFERENCE ANY CAST AND CREED , TOWARDS BROTHERHOD, AHINSA, AND HOLY LIFE.
